Reflection on E-portfolio Creation Module
For the benefits side, I think making the website as an e-portfolio helped me show my ideas and feelings in my own way. I could write what I wanted, and that made me understand my learning better. Also, I could keep all my work and information in one place, so it is easy to find them when I need. Right now, my website does not have a lot of text, but I can still see how useful it is.
Besides, it saves a lot of space compared to paper. I don’t need to print many pages or carry them around. I can also change the website anytime, like fixing mistakes or adding more things. I think it’s a good way to share what I have learned. It also makes my learning look more fun and creative. I can add pictures, videos, or links and that makes the e-portfolio more interesting.
On the other hand, I did have some problems. First, it took me some time to get used to the website. I had to spend time looking for each button or tool. Sometimes I didn’t know where to click or how to change something. Another challenge was the color and design. At first, I used one of the sample templates from WIX, but later I found that it didn’t really match what I wanted. So I deleted it and made a new one from the beginning.
To make it better, I tried to look online at how other people designed their websites. I checked what colors they used and how their pages looked. Then I changed mine step by step. This took some time, but I learned how to choose better colors and make the page look nicer. Even though it was not always easy, I feel proud of what I made. It is not perfect, but it is mine. I think in the future, I can use this skill again, maybe to make a learning blog or teaching page. I also understand more about how digital tools can help me learn and show my ideas. This is a new experience for me, and I’m happy I tried it.
